
Complaints & Appeals
RIC handles all complaints and appeals in a fair, impartial and confidential manner. We welcome feedback relating to our audits, certification decisions, auditors, staff, or the conduct of RIC-certified organisations.

Complaints
Complaints may be submitted in writing with sufficient details. RIC will acknowledge receipt, review the matter independently, and communicate the outcome once the investigation is complete. Corrective actions will be taken where necessary.

Appeals
Clients may appeal an audit conclusion or certification decision. Appeals are reviewed by personnel not involved in the original decision, and the outcome will be communicated formally. Appeal decisions made through RIC’s process are final.

Impartiality
Individuals involved in the subject of a complaint or appeal will not participate in its review. No party will face discrimination for submitting a complaint or appeal.
